Located at the crossroads of two of Florida’s “veins”, I-75 and I-10, Lake City is a convenient stopping place for travelers, and is the heart of Columbia County. The local economy is growing strong and is home to a variety of businesses. The majority of the retail growth is located near HWY 90, and close to I-75. Lake City is about two hours north of Orlando, an hour drive from Jacksonville, and a half-hour from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
